The Operations team in the Frankfurt region is hiring a Field Manager to oversee daily transit operations, handle real-time logistical challenges, and lead local AI and automation projects. This position exists to maintain reliable transit networks while driving continuous service improvements through data analysis and field coordination. An ideal candidate brings a blend of operational experience, data fluency, and strong interpersonal skills to manage drivers and collaborate with regional partners.
What you will do
- Manage daily onsite operations to provide safe, accessible, and reliable transportation services for all passengers.
- Drive continuous improvements across the service by integrating data, technology, AI, and automation projects.
- Resolve real-time issues concerning fleet availability, driver supply, compliance, and passenger needs.
- Support and guide drivers to build strong relationships and elevate field team performance.
- Analyze rider and community feedback to identify underlying patterns and implement practical solutions.
- Serve as the primary communication bridge between central teams, drivers, and external partners.
What you need
- Bring practical operational background in logistics, people management, customer service, or similar process-driven fields.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills to build trust with diverse stakeholders including drivers, riders, and city partners.
- Possess a proactive and hands-on approach to solving problems directly in the field under pressure.
- Show proficiency in using analytics and AI tools to structure data, prioritize tasks, and optimize services.
- Maintain at least C1 language proficiency in both German and English.
- Hold a valid class B driver's license for Germany.
