Role Overview

In this London-based position, the Engineering Manager will bridge the gap between AI research and production deployment. The professional will direct a team responsible for the complete deployment lifecycle of enterprise solutions, maintaining a close connection to customer experiences and turning real-world deployment challenges into platform enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

Formulate and implement the infrastructure roadmap in alignment with company and engineering priorities.
Guide the design, creation, and reliability of secure infrastructure systems.
Establish and oversee service level agreements and objectives for platform uptime, performance, and developer experience.
Oversee the engineering team to ensure successful technical delivery and mentor team members.
Create, construct, and refine backend services tailored for advanced AI applications, automation, and evaluation tooling.
Collaborate alongside product, security, and engineering leadership to coordinate goals and standards.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
At least 2 years of experience leading infrastructure or platform engineering teams.
Demonstrated background utilizing cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI.
Practical experience handling Kubernetes deployments on on-premise infrastructure.
Strong comprehension of infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, container orchestration, and continuous integration pipelines.
Background operating production environments that demand high availability and scalability.
Knowledge of incident response, monitoring, and alerting procedures.
Familiarity with modern developer platforms and internal tooling to boost engineering speed.
Practical background in network engineering.
