Key Responsibilities

Build and shape the New York engineering presence by establishing the operating rhythm, quality bar, and office culture in SoHo.
Bring an AI-native leadership perspective regarding how agentic engineering alters software creation and team workflows.
Drive pace and performance by raising execution velocity, partnering closely with product and design, and multiplying team output.
Own a product area end-to-end, defining technical direction, making architectural decisions, and staying close enough to the technology to unblock engineers.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 plus years managing software engineering teams, including experience as a manager of managers or as a lead engineering executive in a specific location.
Demonstrated track record of building products from zero to real scale while taking ownership of overall product outcomes.
Hands-on technical capability to read code, review team outputs, participate in technical design reviews, and assist during bottlenecks.
Clear, well-formed philosophy and practical experience regarding AI and agentic engineering.
Proven skill in rapid hiring and mentorship while maintaining high organizational standards.
Experience thriving within a fast-growing startup environment and contributing wherever needed.
Residency in New York with the ability to work from the SoHo office five days per week.
Passion for the company mission to improve healthcare delivery globally.

Nice to Have

Prior experience operating as a site lead or founding senior engineering leader for a new office or region.
