Role Overview
The Director, AI Enablement at Launch a White is a remote, full-time leadership position responsible for building and scaling the enterprise artificial intelligence capability. This role suits an experienced technology leader with a background in artificial intelligence platforms, machine learning operations, and cross-functional enterprise management.
Key Responsibilities
Design and execute the enterprise artificial intelligence roadmap to align directly with overall business goals and priorities.
Identify, evaluate, and deliver high-impact artificial intelligence use cases that demonstrate clear, measurable return on investment.
Own the end-to-end design, deployment, operation, and security of the enterprise artificial intelligence platform and associated infrastructure.
Establish rigorous standards for model lifecycle management, covering deployment, active monitoring, and incident response.
Partner closely with IT, Clinical, Human Resources, Operations, and Data teams to drive adoption across diverse business workflows.
Build, structure, and scale a multidisciplinary artificial intelligence team while managing budgets, external vendor resources, and tooling.
Requirements
Ten or more years of overall experience working in technology roles.
Four or more years of direct experience in a leadership or management capacity.
Demonstrated experience working with scaling enterprise platforms.
Comprehensive understanding of large language model ecosystems, machine learning operations practices, vector databases, and artificial intelligence application programming interface architectures.
Proven track record of translating complex business challenges into clear artificial intelligence product requirements and delivering successful solutions.
Strong executive communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences.
Nice to Have
Experience operating in regulated industries such as healthcare or financial services.
Background in healthcare information technology, clinical decision support, or Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act-regulated environments.
Familiarity with Amazon Web Services artificial intelligence and machine learning services, including SageMaker, Bedrock, and Amazon Connect artificial intelligence capabilities.
Experience building teams from the ground up to establish a brand-new operational function.
Background in workforce management, business process outsourcing technology, or contact center artificial intelligence.
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
