Senior Software Engineer is a full-time hybrid position at OpenLoop located in Toronto, Canada. This opportunity suits an experienced engineer with a background in full-stack development looking to contribute to healthcare infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and execute technical integrations for new healthcare partners by tailoring the platform to specific workflows and legacy systems.

Design secure data pipelines for ingesting clinical data and synchronizing it with artificial intelligence services.

Configure and optimize telephony networks to support voice and messaging channels for reliable patient engagement.

Partner with engineering, product, and clinical teams to turn partner needs into technical plans.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Minimum of 5 years of professional engineering experience shipping production software in modern cloud environments.

Practical background handling sensitive data securely with an understanding of compliance standards and data protocols.

Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts and translate partner requirements.

Nice to Have

Deep experience with API interoperability, data ingestion, and third-party system integration.

Practical experience or interest in operationalizing Large Language Models in production.
