Role Overview

OpenAI is looking for a senior individual contributor to assist account teams in structuring and closing commercial transactions across the EMEA region. The position balances response speed and pricing discipline while maintaining commercial controls and consistent workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary contact for EMEA account teams regarding deal intake, prioritization, and approvals.
Evaluate commercial terms, pricing, discounts, and customer commitments for quote accuracy.
Construct financial models and deal analyses to evaluate profitability, margins, and revenue impacts.
Coordinate multi-departmental reviews across Legal, Finance, Pricing, and Revenue Operations.
Maintain complete approval and transaction records inside contract management systems, CRM, and CPQ tools.
Develop scalable workflows, policies, templates, and training to reduce turnaround times and bottlenecks.

Requirements

Minimum of eight years of professional experience in commercial finance, Deal Desk, sales operations, or related functions within a technology environment.
Practical background in structuring complex enterprise agreements and guiding quoting and contracting processes.
Financial modeling expertise for evaluating pricing, discount implications, and deal profitability.
Familiarity with enterprise software subscription or consumption models and commercial terms.
Proficiency with CRM platforms, contract management software, and CPQ tools.
