Role Overview

The Customer Success Manager for Public Sector and Defense in France will lead strategic government accounts and ensure clients realize maximum value from advanced AI solutions. This individual will partner with senior stakeholders, guide digital transformation projects, and align deployment strategies with unique public sector requirements across France.

Key Responsibilities

Own the success, adoption, and growth of French public sector accounts, helping clients extract maximum value from AI systems.
Build trusted relationships with high-level government stakeholders, ministerial executives, CIOs, and digital transformation leads.
Create tailored success plans that respect public sector budget cycles, missions, and operational constraints.
Guide clients through the complete lifecycle of AI adoption, ranging from initial pilot design to production deployment and scaling.
Navigate complex government environments, managing legacy integration, regulatory compliance, and formal procurement approval processes.
Facilitate contract renewals, drive account expansion, and conduct regular executive business reviews to demonstrate return on investment.
Act as the internal voice of public sector clients, providing strategic feedback to product and engineering teams regarding security and language support.

Requirements

Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in customer success, strategic consulting, account management, or technology delivery within enterprise or government sectors.
At least 3 to 5 years of direct working experience with French regional authorities, public institutions, or ministries in a digital transformation or consulting capacity.
Proven track record of managing complex accounts featuring multiple stakeholders, long sales cycles, and multi-year implementation timelines.
Direct experience leading artificial intelligence, machine learning, cloud, or enterprise software implementations in secure or regulated environments.
Comprehensive understanding of how French public organizations procure, evaluate, and govern technology solutions.
Active Confidentiel-Défense or higher security clearance.
Fluent French language proficiency.

Nice to Have

3 or more years of specific experience managing generative AI, LLM, or conversational AI implementations.
Familiarity with French public sector digital transformation initiatives such as France Relance and France 2030.
Direct background working alongside French defense, national security, intelligence, or public safety organizations.
Previous experience in management consulting or systems integration tailored to French public sector clients.
