As a commercial counsel based in the United States, the chosen attorney acts as the primary legal partner for business transactions, operational partnerships, and high-impact agreements. The position exists to provide dedicated legal support for the rapid expansion of the business while ensuring responsible growth and regulatory alignment. What you will do
- Act as the primary legal partner for business transactions, operational initiatives, and strategic partnerships.
- Deliver practical and business-oriented legal advice to sales, finance, procurement, and operations teams.
- Evaluate and resolve commercial, product, regulatory, and privacy concerns stemming from business transactions.
- Design creative and scalable strategies and processes for handling legal issues to support organizational expansion.
- Monitor regulatory and compliance developments that affect the artificial intelligence and technology sectors.
- Coordinate with members of the global legal team to maintain consistent legal alignment across different jurisdictions.
What you need
- Bring at least seven years of relevant professional experience gained across in-house positions and technology-focused law firms.
- Demonstrate a strong background in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial contracts.
- Operate effectively within an entrepreneurial environment while maintaining independence and proactive problem-solving habits.
- Communicate legal concepts clearly with strong business judgment tailored to enable responsible growth.
- Build cross-functional working relationships and adapt communication styles for diverse internal and external audiences.
