HappyRobot is seeking a Chief of Staff to partner with leadership on special projects and execute growth strategies in San Francisco or remotely. This full-time position suits a high-output generalist who bridges big-picture planning and detailed execution while keeping company priorities aligned.

Role Overview

The leadership team needs a force multiplier to execute strategic plans and support the journey toward becoming a generational company. Operating as a critical connector, this individual keeps the executive team aligned, maintains a sharp operating rhythm, and scales internal systems effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Act as a direct partner to the founders and executive team to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans and follow through to completion.
Design and manage leadership meetings, company all-hands, and quarterly planning cycles to maintain strong organizational alignment.
Lead cross-functional special projects spanning Product, Go-To-Market, and Operations from initial scoping to final delivery.
Collaborate with executives to define and track company-wide OKRs while using data to identify operational roadblocks.
Identify missing organizational structures or processes and build the necessary frameworks to close those gaps.

Requirements

Bring four or more years of experience in a high-ownership environment such as management consulting, investment banking, startup operations, or a previous Chief of Staff role.
Demonstrate strong analytical and technical aptitude with the ability to leverage data for decision-making.
Navigate multi-stakeholder environments smoothly, acting as a bridge between executives, engineering, and commercial field teams.
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills to synthesize complex information for executive and board audiences.
Balance high-level strategic thinking with hands-on tactical execution.

Nice to Have

Prior experience working at an early-stage or growth-stage startup is strongly preferred.
