Scale AI is seeking an AI Product Manager to join the Gen AI Sales department in San Francisco, CA, focusing on Multimodal and Coding AI data verticals. Role Overview

This position involves collaborating with Senior AI Product Managers to execute strategic initiatives across Coding, Agentic, and Reinforcement Learning data products. The professional in this role will coordinate cross-functional operations spanning engineering, research, and go-to-market teams. Responsibilities include tracking program milestones, managing project timelines, and handling risks and dependencies. The individual will also support client engagements by preparing documentation, gathering requirements, and organizing follow-up actions.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with senior product leads to execute strategic initiatives for coding and multimodal data products.
Coordinate cross-functional projects across research, operations, engineering, and go-to-market divisions.
Monitor program schedules, deliverables, dependencies, and potential risks.
Assist with customer engagements by drafting materials, logging requirements, and coordinating execution.
Define data specifications, check data quality, and find ways to boost product and operational performance.
Conduct market, user, and competitor research to shape product roadmaps.
Help create novel AI data products, tooling, and evaluation workflows.

Requirements

Three years of professional experience in product management, project management, consulting, technical account management, customer success, product operations, or a related field.
Strong organizational competencies to handle multiple projects and stakeholders at once.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Proven track record of operating effectively in cross-functional settings to finish projects.
Technical curiosity with an eagerness to learn about machine learning, coding, AI systems, or data products.
A proactive bias for action, a strong ownership mindset, and the capacity to thrive in fast-paced settings.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Salary and Benefits

Base salary range for San Francisco is $171,200 to $214,000 USD.
Eligible for equity-based compensation subject to Board of Director approval.
