Rogo is seeking a full-time Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting in New York City. Key Responsibilities

Direct daily accounting tasks encompassing the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and expense management.
Drive the monthly, quarterly, and yearly close cycles to deliver precise financial statements on schedule.
Keep exact financial records while drafting cash flow reports, income statements, and balance sheets.
Uphold strict adherence to GAAP and relevant accounting guidelines.
Build and enhance internal controls, accounting procedures, and financial guidelines tailored for a growing startup.
Integrate and refine accounting technologies, workflows, and software to boost reporting productivity.
Assist with forecasting and budgeting by supplying reliable financial insights and metrics.
Track financial indicators and evaluate variances to guide company leaders on business performance.
Collaborate with operational and leadership teams so financial workflows support organizational goals.
Work alongside regulatory partners, tax experts, and external auditors for compliance, tax filings, and audits.

Requirements

Bring between five and eight plus years of progressive accounting background.
Hold a CPA or an equivalent professional credential.
Possess deep understanding of GAAP along with financial reporting rules.
Demonstrate capability with ERP and accounting software, specifically favoring Rillet and Sage Intacct.
Exhibit advanced skills in Microsoft Excel combined with strong analytical aptitude.

Nice to Have

Hold a bachelor degree focused on Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
Bring background from Big 4 firms or public accounting.
Understand financial operations within venture-backed or fast-growing startups.
Possess knowledge of B2B SaaS sectors or the artificial intelligence industry.
Have prior exposure to investor reporting, fundraising diligence, or audit support.
Experience navigating multinational or international corporate structures.
