About this role

Role Overview

Sarvam AI is seeking a full-time Visual Designer based in Bengaluru to shape the visual identity of India's full-stack sovereign AI platform. This role suits a creative professional with a strong portfolio and a passion for defining population-scale design for cutting-edge technology.

Key Responsibilities

Translate the brand system into web sections, launch banners, social media, product marketing, and event collateral.
Design specifically for context rather than relying on standard templates to ensure visual communication matches the messaging.
Push the brand into new creative threads by experimenting with spin-off expressions that maintain the core Sarvam identity.
Utilize AI tools as a first-class part of the daily workflow for generation, iteration, variation, retouching, and cleanup.
Create animated assets, short loops, logo behaviors, launch films, and web motion.

Requirements

3+ years of experience designing communication assets either in-house or at a design studio.
Strong fundamentals in typography, visual hierarchy, grid systems, spatial awareness, and color theory.
Professional proficiency in Figma, including components, variables, auto-layout, and scalable libraries.
Working depth in Photoshop and Illustrator, along with sufficient After Effects skills to ship motion graphics independently.
Native fluency in using AI design tools within a professional production workflow.
Demonstrated ability to extend a brand system beyond existing guidelines.

Nice to Have

Experience with 3D design, rendering, or generative and code-based design tools such as Blender, TouchDesigner, p5, or shaders.
Proficiency in setting Indic typography properly in languages like Devanagari, Tamil, Bengali, or Kannada.
Background in editorial or publication design.
Experience shipping a brand extension from start to finish.
