Members of the Product Engineering group own and lead technical projects spanning multiple teams and product lines. Daily responsibilities include collaborating with AI, legal, and go-to-market groups to build secure systems, agentic capabilities, and user interfaces across web, mobile, and embedded environments like Word and Slack.
The organization exists to scale a new category of professional services software and requires senior leaders who can make critical tradeoff calls, mentor peers, and ship reliable systems at high velocity.
What you will do
- Bring AI capabilities to customer workflows by building products across web, desktop, mobile, embedded experiences, and APIs.
- Lead large, high-priority engineering projects that span multiple teams and define future technical bets.
- Identify business-critical problems, prioritize ruthlessly, and execute tradeoff decisions without losing momentum.
- Develop AI-platform features including agent harnesses, custom agent building, tool calling, retrieval, and memory management.
- Ship robust systems capable of handling petabyte-scale document retrieval, rapid data ingestion growth, and government-level security.
- Write code across the full stack using React, TypeScript, Python, and Postgres to deliver intuitive user experiences and APIs.
- Mentor senior and staff engineers while raising the overall technical bar for the organization.
What you need
- Ten or more years of post-degree experience in a product-focused software engineering role operating at Staff level or above.
- Demonstrated depth in full stack, backend, or agents and AI, accompanied by the range to work across domains.
- Experience building scalable and extensible systems that support multiple product lines simultaneously.
- Track record of shipping highly intuitive products within fast-growing software-as-a-service companies.
- Proficiency with technologies such as React, TypeScript, CSS, and Python, alongside hands-on experience building agentic systems.
- Familiarity with AI coding tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex as part of a daily shipping workflow.
- History of influencing and aligning engineers and leaders well outside direct team scope.
- Strong general computer science knowledge and programming skills.

The salary range for this role is $231,000 to $340,000 USD, along with offers of equity and bonus.
