Role Overview

This senior leadership position establishes and executes Harvey’s global social impact and access-to-justice framework. Operating within the Responsible Business unit, the professional collaborates with product, legal, partnerships, and people teams to integrate social value into legal artificial intelligence deployments. The mandate centers on improving access to premier legal assistance and supporting the broader health of justice systems through autonomous execution in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

Create and direct the overarching global social impact strategy centered on access to justice, complete with multi-year goals, principles, and defined priorities.
Create, test, and expand high-impact programs and alliances alongside civil society groups, professional organizations, and justice sector entities.
Oversee external stakeholder relationships with NGOs, bar associations, community groups, and multilateral institutions to guide product and policy directions.
Collaborate with Communications, Marketing, and Leadership to shape the public narrative surrounding corporate social responsibility efforts.
Formulate practical metrics for impact measurement and learning to inform commercial, policy, and product teams.
Act as the internal authority on social impact, equipping internal teams with actionable frameworks that align with corporate values.

Requirements

Bring substantial professional experience, typically spanning seven or more years, directing public interest, community-focused, or social impact initiatives within complex organizations.
Prove a history of forging strategic alliances across educational institutions, civil society, advocacy groups, and justice sector actors to achieve measurable results.
Demonstrate the capability to convert broad equity and inclusion missions into concrete programs and operational frameworks.
Show adaptability in fast-paced, ambiguous settings with the ability to construct initiatives from the ground up using iterative learning.
Exhibit advanced communication and stakeholder management abilities to represent the organization credibly and navigate nuanced topics.
Possess a demonstrated interest in evaluating the societal impacts, opportunities, and risks associated with deploying legal artificial intelligence.
