The Staff Software Engineer will play a vital part in guiding the evolution of IRIS, a core product that delivers a seamless imaging experience at the dental chair by integrating with various ecosystem services. In this capacity, the professional will shape product trajectories, make long-term architectural decisions, and build upon a production-grade codebase alongside an expert team. Although the position operates remotely, candidates must reside in Lahore and be available to work from 7 am to 3 pm EST hours.

Key Responsibilities

Own the structural architecture evolution of the IRIS platform and drive key technical decisions for future growth.
Connect IRIS with external device ecosystems and dental imaging hardware.
Eliminate engineering bottlenecks through smart tooling and structural enhancements.
Maintain high standards of reliability and correctness across systems utilized daily in clinical environments.

Requirements

Possess a minimum of five years of professional experience featuring deep expertise in Windows systems development, including hardware and device integration, concurrency, inter-process communication, and process management.
Demonstrate strong proficiency in C# and .NET, with high comfort levels handling async programming and scaling cancellation patterns.
Focus heavily on producing reliable and correct production software.
Think long-term by building tooling and structures that compound team capabilities.
Bring familiarity with AI tools in systems development, such as agentic diagnostics and debugging approaches.
