Role Overview

The Staff Product Manager for AI Data Experience at Ironclad is responsible for the features and systems that integrate contract data into the core product experience. Located in San Francisco, the position involves managing data importation from customer systems, transforming it into connected knowledge, and exporting insights. The role sits at the intersection of customer needs, data architecture, product strategy, and artificial intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

Own the data import experience and product features to bring in contracts and metadata from third-party repositories, shared drives, and communications platforms while preserving structure and permissions.
Build upon the context knowledge graph foundation by defining how contracts, terms, entities, and workflows connect to provide context to users and AI systems.
Make data useful across the platform by establishing shared schemas, APIs, events, and lineage for tools like Search, Smart Import, Workflows, and AI Agents.
Build AI agents on imported data in partnership with engineering and design to predict, recommend, triage, and execute work across various departments.
Create a data quality and trust flywheel by defining metrics for accuracy, freshness, and lineage, ensuring customers can validate and correct data.
Partner on contract understanding by collaborating with the Contract Understanding Platform team on ingestion, extraction, and graph construction boundaries.

Requirements

7+ years of product management experience, including staff-level ownership in a data-rich environment.
Zero-to-one product development experience building AI solutions.
Strong quantitative judgment and experience defining metrics, instrumentation, quality thresholds, and feedback loops for data and platform products.
Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment ranging from Series B through IPO.
Enterprise-product judgment prioritizing trust, security, compliance, portability, and workflow integration.
Customer empathy, written communication skills, and the ability to explain complex technical concepts.
Demonstrated ability to lead through influence across engineering, design, data, AI, GTM, and executive stakeholders.

Nice to Have

Experience with contract lifecycle management, document AI, legal technology, data migrations, or knowledge graphs.
