Role Overview

Frontdesk AI is hiring a Staff Full Stack Engineer for the Pay-i department located in the Greater Seattle Area, specifically based in Bellevue, WA with local in-office preference and occasional hybrid arrangements possible. This position is ideal for an experienced technical professional eager to build innovative products that address the critical financial challenges of Generative AI.

Key Responsibilities

Partner closely with front-end and back-end engineers to quickly deliver both prototype and production-ready applications.
Develop user interfaces that are intuitive, performant, reliable, and visually engaging to ensure a top-tier user experience.
Maintain brand consistency and high graphic standards across all customer touchpoints.
Apply responsive design techniques to guarantee smooth rendering across different screen sizes and devices.
Improve code readability, structure, and performance through regular refactoring.
Manage application state effectively using standard state management patterns and libraries such as Context API and Redux.
Apply robust front-end security measures, including secure coding guidelines and input validation.
Write thorough unit, integration, and end-to-end tests with standard testing tools and frameworks.
Conduct and participate in peer code reviews to uphold high engineering standards.
Guide the team methodology for maintaining the performance, quality, and maintainability of the entire front-end stack.

Requirements

Bring at least 7 years of professional experience alongside a strong drive for continuous learning.
Strong proficiency in modern client JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and browser developer tools.
Working protocol knowledge concerning OAuth2, HTTP, and DNS.
Familiarity with Python web server development, Git, Bash, and Docker.
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, experimental environment and navigate ambiguous situations independently.
Demonstrated background in creating external products for customers.
Self-motivated work ethic coupled with cloud platform exposure across AWS, GCP, and Azure.

Nice to Have

Ten or more years of overall professional experience.
Familiarity with Bootstrap 5+ and Highcharts.
Hands-on background developing single-page applications or progressive web applications using JavaScript.
Broad full-stack engineering capabilities.
