Role Overview

Frontdesk AI seeks a leader for its Gryps division, an AI operating system tailored for the architecture, engineering, and construction sector. Based in New York City, this full-time role requires on-site presence. The person in this position will direct a team of four to six professionals, oversee client implementation strategies, and manage the complete post-sale relationship with major institutional owners such as universities, hospital systems, and airport authorities.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and grow a team of four to six customer success and implementation staff by establishing clear standards, onboarding frameworks, and delivery playbooks.

Collaborate with clients to discover high-impact use cases including schedule risk management, contract intelligence, cost tracking, and portfolio reporting.

Design comprehensive data strategies by connecting relevant data sources and structuring unstructured and structured information to match client records.

Act as an executive sponsor and trusted advisor for accounts ranging from project managers up to vice presidents of capital planning and real estate.

Monitor engagement metrics, remove implementation bottlenecks, and drive gross and net revenue retention through renewals and expansion opportunities.

Requirements

Eight or more years of professional construction domain experience covering how capital projects are planned, executed, and closed out.

An engineering or quantitative academic background such as a degree in construction management, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or another analytical field.

Demonstrated executive presence with the ability to lead boardroom discussions and communicate clearly with senior leadership.

Proven track record in coaching early-career professionals and building high-performing teams.

Strong commercial ownership with accountability for revenue retention, forecasting, and expansion.

Nice to Have

Background working directly within an owner organization like a public agency, health system, university, or major real estate portfolio manager.

Experience implementing or managing construction technology platforms such as Procore, e-Builder, Kahua, Unifier, or enterprise AI tools.

Familiarity with digital twins, BIM, GIS, or asset and facilities management data.

Prior work experience within an early-stage or fast-growing software enterprise.

Salary and Benefits

Annual salary range between $160,000 and $180,000 paid in USD.
