Role Overview

Gen Digital seeks a Senior Principal Product Manager to direct the Digital Footprint Control capability. This remote position suits an experienced product leader focused on consumer privacy, data protection, and digital freedom.

Key Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end product strategy for digital footprint control, including personal data removal, tracking protection, and account exposure management.
Define and track quality dimensions such as removal success rates, re-listing detection, and tracking-block coverage.
Lead international expansion efforts by navigating regional data broker landscapes, localized opt-out requirements, and global privacy laws like GDPR and CCPA.
Identify and build partnerships with data brokers, data-removal networks, browser-platform owners, and identity ecosystem providers.
Define mobile privacy protection strategies across iOS and Android platforms, addressing specific tracking surfaces and platform constraints.
Partner with engineering and AI competency teams to operationalize automated, proactive privacy capabilities using artificial intelligence.
Monitor emerging data broker models, tracking mechanisms, and consumer behaviors to build business cases for new product capabilities.

Requirements

Bring 10 or more years of product management experience, including senior or principal-level ownership of consumer-facing products.
Demonstrate strong understanding of data-broker operations, data acquisition, opt-out mechanics, and removal workflows.
Apply proven consumer-product judgment to make complex privacy features simple and trustworthy for non-technical users.
Show a track record of growing adoption and monetization for privacy, security, utility, or subscription offerings.
Maintain familiarity with GDPR, CCPA, US state-level privacy laws, and global privacy regulations.
Possess experience building or enhancing products with AI-driven automation, proactive intelligence, or personalized recommendations.
Exhibit experience collaborating across product, engineering, legal, policy, brand, and go-to-market teams in multi-brand environments.
Demonstrate strong strategic thinking, communication, prioritization, and stakeholder-management skills.

Nice to Have

Background working with browser-extension architecture or browser privacy products.
Familiarity with mobile privacy and tracking constraints on iOS and Android.
Experience with masked identity, email-alias, data-removal, or reputation-management products.
Background in data broker, identity, privacy, cybersecurity, or consumer subscription businesses.
Experience operating in highly regulated or rapidly changing product environments.
