About this role

The Senior Partner Solutions Engineer role at vCluster — Kubernetes Tenant Isolation for AI Infrastructure is a remote position based in the United States, designed for an experienced pre-sales professional ready to shape strategic technical partnerships. This opportunity suits an expert in cloud-native systems who thrives on driving partner-sourced pipeline and defining reference architectures for high-performance GPU environments.

Role Overview

Working closely with industry leaders like NVIDIA, AMD, WWT, and prominent AI Cloud providers, the professional in this role turns strategic relationships into validated reference architectures and enablement programs. The work involves whiteboarding GPU cloud architectures with partner solution architects in the morning and training partner sellers in the afternoon.

Key Responsibilities

Design and validate joint reference architectures spanning NVIDIA blueprints and foundational elements up through the platform layer, including vCluster, vNode, vMetal, and vCluster Platform.
Develop repeatable, sellable solutions complete with bills of material, deployment guides, demo environments, and benchmarks.
Build and deliver technical enablement for partner architects and sellers, conducting workshops at partner Centers of Excellence.
Enable internal field sales engineering teams to engage partners effectively and scale the partner motion.
Own technical discovery, demonstrations, and Proofs of Concept for partner-sourced opportunities while maintaining a disciplined POC model.
Establish a vCluster presence inside partner Centers of Excellence tied to qualified pipeline.
Cultivate executive sponsors and technical champions across a focused portfolio of priority partners.

Requirements

Deep expertise in Kubernetes, specifically regarding cluster architecture, tenant isolation, and the cloud-native ecosystem.
Proven background in technical pre-sales working alongside OEMs, GSIs, resellers, or cloud providers to drive co-selling and joint validation.
Extensive experience conducting discovery, whiteboarding, demos, and production-converting Proofs of Concept.
Demonstrated ability to create enablement content, workshops, hands-on labs, or certification paths from scratch.
Strong executive presence capable of engaging technical engineers and C-level leaders alike.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with the NVIDIA ecosystem, including DGX, Dynamo, GPU Operator, AI Enterprise, and related ecosystem certifications.
Understanding of AI infrastructure depth covering GPU infrastructure, storage, and networking for AI factories and GPU clouds.
Experience building or supporting GPU-as-a-Service or Kubernetes-as-a-Service platforms at AI Cloud or service providers.
