About this role

Role Overview

As a Sr. Global Alliance Director, OEM, Storage and ISV at vCluster Labs, you will lead the zero-to-one creation of the first partner program in a remote capacity across the United States. This role suits an ambitious builder who wants to define the tenant isolation layer of modern AI infrastructure through strategic partnerships with server OEMs, storage vendors, and infrastructure ISVs.

Key Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end OEM alliance strategy, including executive alignment, business reviews, and the commercial model with embedded SKUs and unit economics.
Build and prioritize the ISV portfolio by driving strategic integrations with storage, network, scheduler, observability, security, and MLOps vendors.
Design repeatable sell-with motions, including account mapping, joint solution briefs, and field-to-field engagement tied to regional sales.
Drive technical alignment by writing integration specifications, licensing requirements, and acceptance criteria for product and engineering teams.
Build the technology alliance program from scratch, establishing tiers, certification requirements, and self-serve paths for scalable partner onboarding.
Own the partnership number by reporting partner-influenced pipeline, managing joint bookings contribution, and performing weekly pipeline inspections using MEDDPICC.

Requirements

Bring 10+ years of experience in technology alliances, OEM or ISV partnerships, partner sales, or ecosystem leadership in enterprise infrastructure software.
Demonstrated track record of getting products embedded into validated designs, reference architectures, or OEM catalogs.
Deep, current relationships across hardware OEMs like Dell, HPE, Supermicro, Lenovo, and Cisco, as well as major storage and infrastructure vendors.
Working understanding of Kubernetes, cloud-native platforms, AI/ML infrastructure, and the GPU stack.
Proven ability to build commercial structures like price books, royalties, and support models.
Strong influence without authority, mobilizing cross-functional teams without direct organizational control.
Rigorous operating habits, forecasting hygiene, and builder's instinct suited for a high-velocity startup environment.

Nice to Have

Prior OEM design work getting software named in a server manufacturer's AI infrastructure reference or validated design.
NVIDIA partner ecosystem experience including NCP, ISV certification, or reference architecture programs.
Open-source ecosystem credibility such as CNCF standing or active maintainer experience.
Adjacent stack and marketplace fluency with tools like Slurm, Ray, Run:ai, and cloud marketplace private offers across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
