As a Software Engineer Intern, the individual will collaborate closely with Product, AI, Legal, and Go-to-Market teams to develop secure and intuitive systems that provide tangible value to customers. What you will do
- Own a project end-to-end, encompassing coding, testing, and deployment to production, and presenting the work to company leaders.
- Write clean, maintainable code that adheres to team standards, utilizing AI-assisted development tools daily.
- Build a deep understanding of the supported systems and their users to inform product discussions.
- Debug issues within assigned areas, follow established escalation procedures, and treat quality assurance as a priority.
- Collaborate with the team through code reviews, pair programming sessions, design reviews, and technical documentation.
- Potentially work on areas such as retrieval over large document collections, interfaces for AI collaboration, or enterprise agents.
- Evaluate frontier models alongside senior engineers to inform product direction.
What you need
- Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in computer science, engineering, or a related field, with a graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Previous internship experience is a required qualification for this role.
- Possesses a technical foundation and strong proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, or Go.
- Requires solid general computer science knowledge to support complex system development.
- Demonstrates decisiveness, exhibiting a bias toward action and experience building projects from start to finish.
- Shows simplicity by being able to explain complex technical concepts clearly and seeking the simplest working solution.
- Exhibits a 'Job's Not Finished' mentality by proactively seeking feedback and persisting after initial completion.
