Role Overview

The Autonomous Revenue Operations team at Commure builds the infrastructure that transforms manual healthcare financial tasks into intelligent, automated systems. The position involves designing solutions that fix claims autonomously, process high transaction volumes, and provide observability for operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

Build LLM-powered automation that decides how to fix denied claims with rigorous evaluations, dry runs, and audit trails.
Design safety guardrails such as identity guards, payer-type restrictions, duplicate-prevention, and QA gates.
Scale a rule engine running hundreds of configurable conditions and actions per customer across high transaction volumes with explainability.
Build observability dashboards tracking automated resubmission approval rates, cycle times, and failure rates.
Generate automated appeal letters and medical-record packets with validation scoring.
Deliver a unified automations console for operations teams to manage billing and validation rules.
Contribute to technical direction and platform architecture improvements.
Build end-to-end products to revolutionize revenue cycle management for providers and administrators.
Take ownership of integration workflows from design to post-launch monitoring.
Collaborate with cross-functional product, engineering, and healthcare teams to gather requirements.
Mentor and guide engineers while fostering technical excellence.
Conduct code reviews, uphold best practices, and drive architectural improvements.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent extensive experience.
Minimum of 2 years of professional software development industry experience.
Proficiency in frontend languages like TypeScript and React.
Proficiency in backend languages like Python or Go.
Experience with Git, GCP or AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, relational and non-relational databases, and monitoring tools.
Track record of designing and implementing end-to-end solutions and making architectural decisions.
Communication and collaboration skills suited for a fast-paced environment.
