Role Overview

Commure is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer, Ambient AI to shape and build next-generation mobile applications for healthcare. The position involves owning meaningful product areas from idea to launch while working alongside product, design, AI, and backend teams. The mobile application is primarily built in Flutter with native Swift and iOS integrations.

Key Responsibilities

Build and own high-impact mobile experiences for clinicians from early exploration through launch and iteration
Develop new interaction patterns for AI-native healthcare software including real-time transcription, ambient documentation, and offline care experiences
Partner with AI and backend engineers to bring model capabilities into production
Contribute across the Flutter application and its native Swift and iOS integrations
Own the quality of shipped features including performance, accessibility, reliability, and release readiness
Mentor other engineers and shape mobile technical strategy

Requirements

4+ years of professional mobile development experience with meaningful ownership of user-facing products
Deep experience in iOS or cross-platform mobile development
Strong native expertise in Swift and iOS including platform conventions and background execution
Willingness to ramp onto a Flutter-based codebase
Strong product judgment, attention to interaction details, and ownership mindset

Nice to Have

Experience building AI-native or real-time product experiences
Experience with audio or video capture, streaming, or background recording
Background in offline-first applications and sync engines
Flutter and Dart experience including Riverpod
Familiarity with healthcare, HIPAA, or regulated environments
