Role Overview

Commure seeks a Senior Software Engineer for the Revenue Cycle Management Product Team to scale and maintain infrastructure for the Insights practice management platform. The position involves driving technical direction, enhancing web application reliability, and collaborating directly with clinicians and product teams to support thousands of practices nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

Shape the technical trajectory of the Insights platform to support thousands of practices and millions of users
Create and maintain full-stack web solutions utilizing ReactJS, Python, and PostgreSQL
Enhance system reliability and visibility through monitoring, logging, and alerting practices
Boost web application performance to ensure smooth user experiences during rapid expansion
Partner with backend and infrastructure groups to maintain high availability and system resilience
Coach and mentor engineering staff to build a culture of technical excellence
Oversee high-impact projects from conception to completion with speed and quality
Execute code reviews and promote architectural enhancements across the technology stack
Partner with design and product units to deliver user-friendly interfaces for healthcare providers

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience focusing on scalable full-stack applications
Expertise in full-stack development using JavaScript with React or Vue, Python, and PostgreSQL
Architectural experience designing reliable, performant, and scalable web applications
Background in managing multi-month projects and delivering results in fast environments
Knowledge of modern front-end engineering including React principles, performance tuning, and state management
Familiarity with complex backend systems, API creation, and database tuning
Problem-solving abilities centered on monitoring, logging, and alerting
Capacity to mentor engineering teams and communicate technical ideas to leadership

Nice to Have

Experience scaling front-end applications in high-traffic settings
Knowledge of frontend performance optimization and bottleneck diagnosis in React
Track record of influencing user interface and user experience decisions
Experience in data visualization and building interactive analytics dashboards
Familiarity with developer tools and CI/CD pipelines for frontend systems
Knowledge of API design patterns such as REST, GraphQL, or gRPC
