Role Overview

The Code organization at Figma is expanding and hiring AI Product Engineers across multiple levels in the UK to redefine how designers, product managers, and engineers collaborate. The position involves driving AI efforts from early concepts to production, building agentic workflows, and advancing tools that bridge the gap between design and code.

Key Responsibilities

Build and evolve Dev Mode and Model Context Protocol (MCP) tools to enhance developer and designer collaboration.
Participate in the creation of new zero-to-one products within the agentic coding space.
Partner with designers, product managers, and fellow engineers to craft high-quality products.
Mentor peers across engineering, product, and design while also receiving mentorship.
Build strong connections with teammates and actively contribute to the company culture.

Requirements

Three or more years of experience shipping user-facing features or products as a full-stack developer.
Demonstrated strong fluency with React and TypeScript.
Experience communicating and collaborating across functions to proactively drive solutions.
High attention to detail, quality, and craftsmanship.
High velocity and a strong focus on user impact.

Nice to Have

Experience leading large-scale engineering projects with high impact.
Background in driving cross-functional projects in collaboration with product, design, data, and research.
Experience working with user-facing large language models (LLMs) and agentic product features.
Experience curating and developing evaluation sets and LLMs as judges.
