Role Overview

Snowflake is hiring a Senior Solution Engineer for the New York location. The professional in this position will partner closely with sales teams and channel partners to identify customer requirements, deliver value-driven demonstrations, and support enterprise proof-of-concept projects.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver presentations showcasing Snowflake technology and vision to executive stakeholders and technical users.
Guide prospects and customers through the sales cycle from initial demonstrations through proof of concept, design, and implementation.
Maintain current knowledge of competitive and complementary industry technologies and vendors.
Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing teams to help refine product offerings and marketing strategies.

Requirements

Possess 5 to 7 plus years of industry experience, with a minimum of 5 years working in a pre-sales environment.
Bring 5 plus years of experience building and deploying machine learning and generative AI solutions in cloud environments.
Demonstrate proficiency with SQL, SQL analytics, and Python.
Bring broad background knowledge across large-scale databases, data warehouses, ETL, analytics, and cloud technologies.
Ability to travel approximately 30 percent of the time.

Nice to Have

A university degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields, with a Master's degree in Data Science or Business Administration considered a plus.
Prior experience working with Global System Integrators such as EY, Deloitte, and Accenture.
