Key Responsibilities

Review end-to-end coding interactions generated by artificial intelligence models.
Analyze model outputs for high-level correctness, utility, and alignment with senior developer practices.
Judge the quality of reasoning and explanations provided alongside the code.
Categorize response quality levels and differentiate between varying degrees of output effectiveness.
Write detailed, opinionated feedback detailing what functions correctly, what fails, and what feels misleading.
Establish standards for optimal behavior when utilizing development assistants.

Requirements

Senior, Staff, or Principal-level engineering background or equivalent practical experience.
Proficiency in Python or TypeScript and JavaScript.
Practical familiarity with tools such as Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, or Cursor.
Understanding of contemporary AI-assisted development workflows.
Ability to evaluate code quality without requiring execution or line-by-line review.
Fluent written and spoken English at a B2 level or higher, including the ability to record brief video explanations.
Capacity to provide direct, subjective yet rigorous opinions on engineering outputs.

Nice to Have

Background in prompt design or evaluation processes.
History of mentoring senior engineers or setting organizational engineering standards.
