Role Overview

In this high-ambiguity builder role, the Senior Product Manager will define how Read AI turns scattered workplace context into useful, trustworthy intelligence for teams and individuals. The person in this position will operate at the intersection of knowledge systems, artificial intelligence, personalization, collaboration, and user experience. Responsibilities include shaping product strategy, discovering customer problems, and guiding solutions from initial concept through launch and measurement.

Key Responsibilities

Establish strategy and determine priorities for organizational-intelligence experiences.
Investigate how leaders, teams, and individuals locate and utilize context across daily work.
Assist customers in connecting information across relationships, time, and conversations.
Translate advanced knowledge and AI capabilities into intuitive, reliable user experiences.
Maintain high standards regarding provenance, relevance, privacy, permissions, and customer control.
Drive the complete product lifecycle from customer discovery and problem framing to iteration and launch.
Collaborate closely with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Platform, Enterprise, and GTM teams.
Define success metrics focused on improved decision-making and awareness rather than mere product activity.

Requirements

6+ years of product management experience featuring a proven track record of owning complex, customer-facing products.
Ability to translate ambiguous customer issues into clear strategies, shipped products, and measurable results.
Direct background working with enterprise collaboration, search, knowledge, analytics, personalization, productivity software, or CRM.
Strong technical intuition paired with credibility among Engineering and Data Science teams.
Excellent product, UX, and customer judgment rooted in research, direct observation, and data.
Hands-on, AI-native mindset toward analysis, execution, prototyping, and research.
Clear communication skills with the capability to align cross-functional teams alongside senior leadership.
Comfort level with making tradeoffs, moving quickly, and adapting direction as evidence evolves.

Nice to Have

Experience connecting information across multiple data sources or systems.
Background working with generative AI, retrieval, knowledge graphs, or personalization.
Experience designing and building products meant for both individual users and whole organizations.
Familiarity with data sensitivity, enterprise permissions, or governance.
A technical or design-oriented background.

Salary and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $160,000 to $190,000, supplemented by equity and benefits. Total compensation will vary depending on factors including qualifications, competencies, skill level, and work location.
