Role Overview

The Senior .Net Developer AI position at Delinea involves designing, building, and operating cloud services that drive AI features for the Iris AI team in Mexico City. This full-time hybrid role suits an experienced software engineer with a strong background in backend systems and a passion for artificial intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

Build and operate scalable, highly available backend services utilizing Azure and Kubernetes.

Develop LLM-powered features encompassing model integration, context pipelines, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), tool calling, agents, and evaluation.

Design event-driven, asynchronous architectures across multiple microservices.

Take full end-to-end responsibility for delivery, including infrastructure-as-code with Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and production incident response.

Collaborate closely with product, UX, and other platform teams while actively participating in code and design reviews.

Leverage AI daily by using coding agents to design, write, and review code meeting rigorous production standards.

Requirements

Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or possess equivalent work experience.

Bring 8+ years of professional experience designing and building production backend services in C#/.NET, Python, or Go, along with full software development lifecycle engagement.

Demonstrate hands-on experience building products with Large Language Models, including inference, structured outputs, RAG, tool calling, or agents utilizing platforms such as Azure AI Foundry or OpenAI API.

Show proficiency in AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot or Cursor, emphasizing spec-driven development and careful context management.

Possess a strong understanding of distributed systems, API design, microservices, and major cloud providers.

Understand multi-tenant SaaS architecture and the specific challenges tied to operating at scale.

Nice to Have

Experience building tools, APIs, or integrations that AI agents call, such as Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers or function-calling interfaces.

Depth in machine learning and MLOps, including fine-tuning, evaluation harnesses, and model deployment in production.

Expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, and advanced CI/CD pipelines.

Background knowledge in identity security, Privileged Access Management (PAM), or Zero Trust architectures.
