Role Overview

The Senior MacOS Developer designs, builds, and maintains software applications tailored for the macOS platform. The professional collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-performance desktop solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Create, test, and maintain software components and applications specifically for macOS.
Participate in building and advancing a contemporary authentication platform.
Integrate identity protocols, authentication mechanisms, and API connectivity.
Apply official Apple security standards to protect software running on macOS endpoints.
Investigate and resolve bugs related to software logic, APIs, authentication flows, and the macOS operating system.
Work alongside architecture, engineering, security, and identity departments.
Utilize artificial intelligence development assistants to accelerate coding, debugging, testing, and overall output.

Requirements

Minimum of five years working in software engineering.
Advanced proficiency using Swift and the Xcode environment.
Practical background building software for macOS or iOS platforms.
Familiarity with SwiftUI, AppKit, or UIKit frameworks.
Ability to connect backend systems and REST APIs.
Familiarity with identity standards such as SSO, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, and MFA.
Comprehension of Apple security topics including Keychain, code signing, permissions, entitlements, and certificate management.
Competence with Git, CI/CD workflows, automated testing, and Agile frameworks.
Awareness of artificial intelligence, large language models, and AI coding assistants.
Fluent communication abilities in advanced English.

Nice to Have

Background using Apple security libraries like LocalAuthentication, CryptoKit, or Security.framework.
Administration experience with enterprise Mac fleets via Jamf or Microsoft Intune.
Familiarity with Passkeys, Apple Platform SSO, PKI, or certificate authentication.
Scripting capabilities in Python, Bash, or Zsh.
Prior background within energy, oil and gas, or enterprise sectors.
