Role Overview

Coforge is hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to oversee end-to-end artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions within cloud environments. The professional in this position will architect scalable architectures, establish engineering standards, and mentor team members while aligning technical deliverables with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Architect, design, and implement scalable, production-grade machine learning systems within cloud platforms
Build and deliver end-to-end solutions spanning data ingestion, feature engineering, deployment, and ongoing monitoring
Manage containerized workloads utilizing Docker and Kubernetes for model training, batch inference, and real-time serving
Oversee massive data pipelines handling multi-terabyte datasets to maintain high performance and reliability
Direct experimentation methodologies involving A/B testing, model validation, and lifecycle management through platforms like MLflow and Databricks
Drive automated retraining, model monitoring, bias mitigation, and performance optimization
Evaluate and prototype emerging artificial intelligence technologies and frameworks
Partner with product, engineering, data, and leadership groups to execute machine learning strategies
Formulate engineering best practices, code quality standards, and comprehensive technical documentation
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers across various initiatives

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in building, deploying, and scaling machine learning systems
Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, and PySpark for distributed data processing
Practical experience utilizing machine learning frameworks including PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, and XGBoost
Demonstrated background in designing and managing production machine learning pipelines with MLflow or comparable tools
Operational experience deploying machine learning solutions across cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, GCP, or Databricks
Comprehensive knowledge of complete machine learning lifecycles
Hands-on familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized machine learning tasks
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams

Nice to Have

Experience utilizing healthcare datasets such as claims, eligibility, pharmacy, or electronic health record data
Advanced academic degree including a Master of Science or Doctor of Philosophy in a relevant quantitative field
Strong familiarity with MLOps practices such as continuous integration and continuous deployment for machine learning, version control, and automated retraining
Background in deep learning methods for time series forecasting, sequential data, or hierarchical modeling
Experience building model evaluation frameworks, experimentation protocols, and performance metrics
Knowledge of Kubernetes-native machine learning platforms like Kubeflow, KServe, or Airflow on Kubernetes
Experience operating in fast-paced, high-growth settings managing concurrent priorities
