Role Overview

Coforge seeks a remote Senior MacOS Developer to build applications and components within the Apple ecosystem. The position focuses on implementing robust security practices, integrating authentication mechanisms, and utilizing artificial intelligence development tools.

Key Responsibilities

Create, test, update, and manage software applications and components tailored for macOS.
Participate in building and advancing a contemporary authentication platform.
Build and connect identity, authentication, and API-driven functions.
Apply security guidelines established by Apple for macOS software.
Investigate and resolve problems related to software, identity verification, APIs, and the operating system.
Work alongside architecture, security, identity, and engineering departments.
Utilize artificial intelligence coding assistants to enhance software creation, testing, error correction, and overall engineering efficiency.

Requirements

Minimum of five years of software engineering background.
Deep expertise in Xcode and the Swift programming language.
Background in building software for macOS or iOS platforms.
Familiarity with AppKit, SwiftUI, or UIKit.
Background connecting backend services and REST APIs.
Familiarity with identity protocols and standards such as OAuth 2.0, SSO, JWT, MFA, and OIDC.
Knowledge of Apple security principles including code signing, permissions, Keychain, secure credential handling, and certificates.
Background utilizing Git, GitHub, continuous integration and delivery pipelines, automated testing, and Agile frameworks.
Acquaintance with large language models, artificial intelligence, and AI-driven coding assistants.
Strong verbal and written communication, teamwork, and analytical abilities.
Proficiency in advanced English communication.

Nice to Have

Background working with Apple security libraries like CryptoKit, Security.framework, or LocalAuthentication.
Experience maintaining enterprise Apple device environments via Microsoft Intune or Jamf.
Understanding of Passkeys, WebAuthn, Apple Platform SSO, certificate authentication, or PKI.
Scripting capabilities in Bash, Python, or Zsh.
Background in large enterprise settings, energy, or oil and gas sectors.
