About this role

Harvey is transforming how legal and professional services operate by building an enterprise-grade platform that combines frontier agentic AI with domain expertise. The global mobility team manages increasing operational complexity as the company expands across geographies and entities, delivering compliant and thoughtful experiences for candidates and employees.

As the first additional member of the mobility function reporting to the Global Mobility Lead, this senior individual contributor will own end-to-end immigration delivery, scale internal workflows, and partner closely with recruiting, legal, and tax teams. Ideal candidates bring deep in-house corporate mobility expertise, strong judgment under ambiguity, and a hands-on approach to building scalable programs in a fast-paced environment.

What you will do

  • Manage the complete delivery lifecycle for immigration, relocation, cross-border transfers, remote work, and business travel.
  • Drive the company-side strategy and execution for intricate U.S. immigration cases alongside external counsel.
  • Counsel candidates, staff, and leadership regarding mobility alternatives, risks, and timelines while collaborating with legal, tax, and payroll specialists.
  • Oversee external partnerships with legal counsel, tax advisors, and relocation vendors to maintain high service standards.
  • Develop internal workflows, communications, documentation, and self-service resources to streamline mobility operations.
  • Maintain precise work authorization data, ensure audit readiness, and apply sponsorship policies consistently.
  • Support individuals through challenging relocation and immigration procedures with empathy, discretion, and responsiveness.

What you need

  • Possess five to eight years of progressive global mobility experience, featuring substantial in-house corporate practice.
  • Demonstrate deep practical expertise in U.S. employment-based immigration to evaluate options and translate legal counsel into actionable guidance.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to employees, managers, and cross-functional stakeholders on mobility matters.
  • Understand the broader mobility lifecycle encompassing relocation, remote work, and international transfers.
  • Bring working knowledge of tax, compensation, payroll, benefits, and equity considerations for cross-border moves.
  • Manage independent portfolios of time-sensitive matters using sound judgment with incomplete information.
  • Collaborate hands-on in a fast-paced setting where priorities and operational frameworks continuously evolve.

Nice to have

  • Experience coordinating employment-based immigration matters outside the United States through local counsel, with direct knowledge of immigration requirements in one or more additional regions.
