Role Overview

In this remote capacity, the Senior Financial Analyst supports two distinct business areas simultaneously: the core acquisition motion and the Education business. This dual focus offers exposure to two unique sets of economics. The professional in this role champions model hygiene, builds automated workflows, and creates foundational datasets that allow analysis to run efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Own foundational models for core acquisition, including headcount planning, representative productivity, representative compensation, and acquisition forecasting.
Manage underlying models for the Education segment, covering order volume, physical product cost and inventory, margin per unit, and Annual Recurring Revenue.
Maintain clean, well-structured, and current financial models to ensure seamless recurring reporting.
Partner with analytics to establish core datasets, definitions, and context layers to facilitate automated analysis.
Construct automated workflows utilizing AI coding tools to streamline model refreshes, data pulls, and recurring analyses.
Independently extract and validate required data utilizing SQL and Redshift alongside AI tools.
Design and upkeep self-serve dashboards to eliminate manual recurring inquiries.
Identify and flag data quality issues, methodological gaps, and reporting inconsistencies proactively.

Requirements

Minimum of 4 years of professional experience working in strategic finance, investment banking, or closely related fields.
Proven ability to read, dissect, and diagnose SQL queries to verify accuracy, including code generated by AI.
Demonstrated habit of using AI coding tools like Claude Code or Codex as a default problem-solving method to build and automate workflows.
Strong fundamentals in Excel and Google Sheets financial modeling, backed by the ability to catch output errors.
Experience owning a recurring operational or financial report from end-to-end, including improving underlying logic.
Track record of keeping datasets and models clean, reusable, and current over time.
Ability to thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
Clear cross-functional communication skills and a proactive approach to teamwork.
