Role Overview
The Senior Enterprise Infrastructure Engineer position at Boku involves designing, building, and maintaining core global cloud infrastructure based in London. This role suits an experienced engineer with a strong background in automation, cloud environments, and enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain core cloud infrastructure across Azure using repeatable, well-documented Infrastructure-as-Code methods.
Manage identity and access at scale via Entra ID, covering RBAC, Conditional Access, and downstream app integrations.
Configure and administer enterprise networking, routing, WAN connectivity, and global firewalls.
Support Privileged Access Management through Delinea vault administration, access policies, and session management.
Develop and maintain Terraform configurations for Azure resource provisioning.
Oversee Power Platform environments, governance, and strategy.
Write scripts and custom tooling using Python and PowerShell to automate operations and system integrations.
Identify and implement opportunities to integrate AI-driven operational tooling alongside the Solution Engineering team.
Manage endpoint devices using Microsoft Intune and Kandji, ensuring compliance, patching, and smooth enrolment.
Help govern the broader SaaS estate and partner with security teams to harden the Microsoft 365 tenant against ISO 27001, SOC 2, and DORA standards.
Serve as a senior technical escalation point for architecture decisions and complex troubleshooting.
Requirements
Seven or more years of working experience in cloud or infrastructure engineering within cloud-first and SaaS environments.
Demonstrable background in end-to-end design, construction, and maintenance of production infrastructure.
Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure core infrastructure, networking, and identity services.
Solid working knowledge of Entra ID principles, including app registrations, conditional access, and governance.
Practical, production-level experience writing and maintaining Terraform.
Experience building workflow automation with Microsoft Power Platform, including environment management and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong coding skills in Python and PowerShell.
Practical administration experience with endpoint management platforms like Microsoft Intune and Kandji.
Direct experience managing enterprise networks, routing, WAN, and firewalls.
Working knowledge of Privileged Access Management solutions, specifically Delinea.
Familiarity with how operational systems integrate with AI-driven platforms.
Nice to Have
Practical knowledge of AI APIs and platforms like Anthropic and OpenAI for operational workflows.
Familiarity with Cloudflare Zero Trust and related security network services.
Professional background working within a global or multi-region enterprise IT organization.
Understanding of compliance standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and DORA.
Experience administering Zoom telephony and contact center solutions.
