Role Overview

The Enterprise Infrastructure Engineer contributes to the ongoing maintenance and deployment of core cloud systems alongside the infrastructure team. Working out of the London office, this individual focuses heavily on automation, Infrastructure-as-Code, and AI-driven operational tooling. Collaboration takes place across the Head of Global IT, Service Delivery, and Solution Engineering teams to ensure platforms remain secure, well-governed, and scalable.

Key Responsibilities

Support the architecture, build, and day-to-day operation of core cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure using repeatable Infrastructure-as-Code delivery.
Assist with identity and access management functions through Entra ID, encompassing Conditional Access and RBAC under senior guidance.
Configure and maintain enterprise networking and firewall solutions, including WAN connectivity, administration, and routing.
Administer Privileged Access Management using Delinea, handling vault administration and access requests.
Write custom scripts and tooling via Python and PowerShell to support system integrations, infrastructure tasks, and reporting.
Manage endpoint and device fleets daily using Microsoft Intune and Kandji for macOS administration, compliance, and patching.
Partner with the Security department to harden the Microsoft 365 tenant against ISO 27001, SOC 2, and DORA compliance frameworks.

Requirements

Three to five years of professional experience working in cloud engineering or infrastructure roles within a SaaS-centric organisation.
Demonstrable background in building, designing, and maintaining production infrastructure estates end-to-end.
Practical hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure, networking, identity services, and Microsoft Intune.
Working knowledge of Entra ID principles such as app registrations, identity governance, conditional access, and RBAC.
Experience writing and maintaining Terraform scripts for cloud resource provisioning.
Scripting proficiency in Python and PowerShell, alongside experience with Microsoft Power Platform workflow solutions.
Familiarity with enterprise firewall administration, enterprise networking, and Delinea PAM solutions.

Nice to Have

Understanding of AI platforms and APIs like Anthropic and OpenAI for operational and infrastructure workflows.
Working knowledge of Cloudflare services and Zero Trust network security.
Prior experience operating within a multi-region, global enterprise IT environment.
Familiarity with compliance standards including DORA, ISO 27001, and SOC 2.
Experience administering contact centre solutions and Zoom telephony.
