What you will do
- Lead the delivery of complex engineering projects focused on driving user acquisition, activation, and revenue growth.
- Break down initiatives into manageable stages with predictable timelines while balancing speed, experimentation, and scalability.
- Partner closely with product and data teams to prioritize high-impact work and maximize business outcomes.
- Scale the team by identifying skill gaps in experimentation, performance, and conversion optimization.
- Monitor team performance proactively to ensure strong execution, continuous improvement, and career development for engineers.
- Navigate difficult conversations with clarity and empathy while balancing business urgency with technical quality.
What you need
- Bring proven experience leading multiple engineering teams delivering high-impact, user-facing projects, typically 4 or more years.
- Demonstrate a strong ability to operate in fast-paced, experiment-driven environments with clear business metrics.
- Show experience scaling engineering teams and aligning them to product and revenue goals.
- Possess a relevant engineering background building scalable SaaS products.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills, particularly in cross-functional environments spanning product, data, and design.

What is the remote policy for this role?
The preference is for this role to be based either in-office or remote in the UK, Germany, Switzerland, or Ireland. Remote workers in other locations across Europe may also be supported subject to compliance and right to work checks.
What is the compensation structure?
The salary starts at EUR, GBP, or CHF 180,000 base along with a stock option plan. The position is full-time employment only, usually processed through OysterHR.
What does the hiring process look like?
The interview loop involves various senior stakeholders across engineering and consists of five separate calls covering people management, technical leadership, program management, cross-functional strategy, and leadership. The entire process can be completed in two to three weeks.
What will the team be working on?
The Agents Platform team builds a highly reliable platform featuring consistent uptime, low latency, and extensive support for model and voice types. This team owns the repeatable platform layer that other teams build their products on top of, working in close collaboration with R&D and product organizations.
