About this role
Product leaders who thrive in ambiguous, zero-to-one environments and possess a strong background in building agentic or AI-powered solutions will find an ideal home in this principal product manager role at Synthesia. Operating out of the London office in a hybrid capacity, the successful candidate will own the Surveys and Guidance domains, tackling the challenge of moving enterprise training beyond basic course completion metrics and toward live, dynamic practice scenarios that provide genuine proof of readiness. Working alongside engineering, design, and commercial teams, the person stepping into this position will shape multi-quarter strategies, write detailed narrative documents, and connect product decisions directly to commercial outcomes.
The team is currently building the next evolution of visual communication and enterprise skill development, capitalizing on recent advances in real-time agentic AI to help organizations capture structured signal and deliver in-the-moment guidance. This role exists to turn underlying technology into a polished product that enterprises rely on to prepare their workforce and end users actually want to engage with. Ideal candidates bring significant product management experience with a track record of setting strategy rather than just executing it, combining short-term delivery discipline with long-term vision.
What you will do
- Own the multi-quarter strategy for the Surveys and Guidance domains by setting direction, identifying problems, and making necessary trade-offs.
- Define and evolve success metrics for both domains while connecting product outcomes directly to commercial results such as retention, expansion, and revenue impact.
- Engage closely with key customers to understand their thought processes, identify gaps in current tools, and translate findings into actionable product direction.
- Drive a shared understanding of product trajectory among engineering, design, R&D, and commercial counterparts.
- Produce written narratives, strategy documents, and PRDs that advance decisions and provide the team with necessary context.
- Balance short-term delivery with long-term product health by scoping execution risk and iterating based on evidence.
- Contribute to improvements in product practice across the team and actively participate in product manager hiring.
