Role Overview

Pigment is hiring an experienced Senior AI Scientist to join the engineering department on a full-time basis in France. This professional will work on cutting-edge artificial intelligence projects that directly shape the enterprise planning software. The position suits individuals with a strong computer science background who want to build production-ready machine learning capabilities that impact global enterprise operations.

Key Responsibilities

Build artificial intelligence features integrated with the core computation engine to ensure complete auditability, determinism, and data visualization.
Develop ambitious product features designed for real-world utility, longevity, and high impact.
Write code on a production Python codebase, following experiments from initial ideation all the way through to deployment.
Execute benchmarking and structured experiments to evaluate the performance of diverse models and underlying architectures.
Perform ongoing research regarding recent developments in natural language models, large language models, and agentic architectures to upgrade existing platform capabilities.

Requirements

Strong background in computer science.
Professional experience working with Generative AI and agentic architectures.
Demonstrated expertise in natural language processing and machine learning.
Ability to write and maintain production-level Python code.
