Role Overview

G2 is hiring a Senior AI Product Builder to work remotely in the United States within a new product function. The professional in this role will operate seamlessly across product, design, and engineering, utilizing AI to close the gap between an initial idea and a shipped product. Working independently, the candidate will interpret open-ended problems, determine strategic paths, and build working products without relying on separate departmental handoffs.

Key Responsibilities

Define product vision and strategy by moving from raw customer insights to hypotheses, testing, and roadmaps while balancing user needs, business outcomes, and technical feasibility.
Build and ship products hands-on by writing production code, prototyping in low-code or AI environments, and utilizing AI coding tools fluently.
Design AI-powered experiences with intent by understanding how large language models, agents, and AI workflows behave and translating them into trustworthy product solutions.
Gather user and market insights by talking directly to customers and users, then rapidly moving from conversations to working prototypes.
Operate independently while communicating clearly with executives, engineers, and go-to-market teams to align stakeholders without losing momentum.

Requirements

Six or more years of experience spanning product management, software engineering, and/or product design, with demonstrated strength across at least two of these areas.
Proven track record of building and shipping AI-powered products, including LLM integrations, AI workflows, or agent-based features.
Hands-on experience building with AI tools such as Cursor, Copilot, Claude, Lovable, or equivalent technologies.
Strong engineering foundation with the ability to read and write code, understand system design tradeoffs, and partner deeply with engineers.
Ability to own a product end-to-end from problem definition through launch and iteration without heavy process scaffolding, while possessing comfort in ambiguity.
Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in a related field.

Nice to Have

Experience in B2B SaaS and familiarity with the software buying and selling space.
