Role Overview

Deposco is hiring a Senior AI Engineer to design and develop analytics and artificial intelligence projects for customers. This position involves joining an energetic engineering group within the development department to build scalable SaaS applications. The person in this role will handle multiple responsibilities related to both architecture and feature delivery for supply chain software.

Key Responsibilities

Build scalable, mission-critical SaaS web applications using Java technologies, focusing on generative AI, analytics, messaging, and bulk data processing.
Handle back-end tasks including business logic, data processing, and workflows, alongside front-end web and mobile development.
Partner with product management and fellow engineers to plan and design feature delivery for software solutions.
Create real-time and batch data processing pipelines at scale while ensuring proper data governance and modeling.
Build data infrastructure to support model monitoring, inference, and training requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience building and designing Java web applications.
At least 2 years of professional experience working with machine learning and AI data infrastructure.
Background using Hibernate and Spring for software development.
Knowledge of vector databases, embedding systems, microservices, and containerization platforms like Kubernetes and Docker.
Familiarity with RESTful and SOAP web services, object-oriented design patterns, and multi-threaded client/server architectures.
Experience using AI coding tools during development and holding a prior architectural or platform role.
Must currently reside in the state of Georgia as relocation is not provided.
