About this role

Role Overview

Deposco seeks a Senior AI Architect to join the Platform and Innovation R&D team and help build advanced supply chain intelligence solutions. This full-time remote role is suited for candidates residing in Georgia who bring extensive experience in Java web applications and machine learning data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable, mission-critical SaaS web applications using Java technologies, including feature development for concurrent user activity, bulk data processing, messaging, analytics, and generative AI.
Handle back-end development of business logic, workflows, and data processing alongside front-end web and mobile development.
Collaborate closely with product management and fellow engineers to design and plan the delivery of software features.
Utilize AI coding tools for daily development tasks.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 7 years of experience designing and developing Java web applications.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working with machine learning and artificial intelligence data infrastructure.
Proficiency in software development using Spring and Hibernate, object-oriented design, design patterns, and multi-threaded client/server architectures.
Deep understanding of data modeling, ETL and ELT processes, data governance, and requirements for training, inference, and model monitoring.
Knowledge of real-time and batch data processing pipelines at scale, vector databases, and embedding systems.
Experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes, microservices, and web services including SOAP and RESTful APIs.
Web development proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, XML, and JSON.
Must reside in Georgia, as relocation is not provided.
