Deposco is seeking an AI Engineer - Operations to join the Platform and Innovation R&D team in Alpharetta, Georgia, focusing on internal AI adoption and high-impact automation. Role Overview

Deposco needs a dedicated professional to lead how artificial intelligence is applied internally across the organization. Operating within the Platform and Innovation team, the professional in this position will embed large language models into daily operations to drive productivity, enhance decision-making, and improve internal processes. Working alongside world-class software architects, the individual will build trusted internal systems while collaborating across departments to identify valuable automation opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain internal tools and systems powered by artificial intelligence to automate manual work and boost employee output.
Utilize AI-powered coding tools to accelerate the software development lifecycle during system creation.
Partner with multiple business units to diagnose operational pain points and pinpoint high-value automation targets.
Build rapid prototypes of AI-enabled utilities and successfully launch them into production environments.
Monitor emerging AI models and tools, translating new capabilities into practical solutions for business challenges.

Requirements

Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Possess 1 to 5 years of practical experience designing and building Java web applications.
Demonstrate familiarity with web services, including both SOAP and RESTful architectures.
Bring hands-on experience building AI Agents, Model Context Protocols (MCPs), and automating complex workflows.
Show prior experience working in platform engineering or architectural roles.
Bring mandatory experience using AI-powered coding utilities for software development.
Currently reside in the state of Georgia, as relocation support is not provided.
Display an entrepreneurial outlook, strong work ethic, self-motivation, and effective communication abilities.

Nice to Have

Basic familiarity with data modeling, ETL and ELT data pipelines, and data governance standards.
Comprehension of data requirements associated with model training, inference execution, and continuous model monitoring.
