Daily responsibilities involve bridging architectural strategy with practical execution, establishing golden standards for Swift development, and streamlining release tooling. The person taking on this challenge will directly influence development practices utilized by hundreds of engineers worldwide.
What you will do
- Lead the transition of iOS release workflows to GitHub Actions to unify mobile deployments with broader frontend and backend pipelines.
- Define scalable iOS architecture utilizing Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit while establishing firm guidelines for framework distribution, security, and accessibility.
- Integrate AI coding assistants, automated tooling, and custom prompt workflows into the development lifecycle to accelerate client-side engineering tasks.
- Collaborate with pilot teams and Engineering Ops leads to mentor developers, demonstrate new technical practices, and ensure smooth organizational adoption.
What you need
- Possess deep technical mastery of Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Swift concurrency, and modular dependency management through tools like Swift Package Manager or CocoaPods.
- Demonstrate hands-on experience designing stable Framework APIs and ABIs.
- Bring proven capability in configuring CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions or Xcode Cloud, backed by a strong focus on unit and UI testing.
- Show practical skill in applying LLM workflows, prompt optimization, and AI tooling to accelerate mobile delivery.
- Exhibit a proactive, strategic mindset with the communication skills needed to guide multi-team ecosystems.
