Sarvam AI is seeking a full-time Senior Product Manager to join its Product team in Bengaluru for an on-site position. This role suits an experienced media-tech professional ready to lead the development of AI-powered media platforms for broadcasters, streaming services, and creators.

Role Overview

Sarvam AI is building India's full-stack sovereign AI platform across research, models, infrastructure, and applications. The Media and Entertainment product stream, Sarvam Studio, covers AI dubbing, live translation, text-to-speech, speech-to-text, and audiobook generation. The incoming product manager will drive the Sarvam Studio product roadmap end-to-end, defining the future of AI-generated media, localization pipelines, and content workflows for major broadcasters and streaming networks.

Key Responsibilities

Own the product roadmap for media and entertainment customers from user discovery to technical specifications, weekly shipping, and outcome measurement.
Translate complex media workflows—such as content ingestion, dubbing, human-in-the-loop review, delivery formats, and compliance requirements—into functional product features.
Define quality standards for AI-generated media, including voice quality, lip-sync, translation fidelity, and emotional nuance, by establishing robust evaluation pipelines.
Analyze production behavior of AI systems, addressing model selection, pipeline design, latency, cost budgets, and failure modes.
Partner with the go-to-market team to structure pricing and packaging, ranging from creator models to enterprise localization contracts.
Serve as the internal voice of the media customer, relaying precise product feedback to research teams.
Monitor the AI-in-media landscape to determine strategic opportunities for building, partnering, or passing.

Requirements

Possess 5 to 10 years of product management experience with a track record of shipping products at scale.
Background in media and entertainment, including video-first platforms, OTT and streaming services, broadcasters, studios, or media-tech content-supply-chain companies.
Understanding of the complete content lifecycle spanning production, dubbing, subtitling, packaging, distribution, and monetization.
Familiarity with generative AI in content workflows, balancing quality, speed, and cost trade-offs.
High ownership, autonomous problem-solving capabilities, and clear communication skills across technical and creative stakeholders.

Nice to Have

Experience shipping production-ready AI-powered media products focused on voice, video, dubbing, or localization.
Background working with media supply chain, playout, or content operations platforms meeting broadcast-grade standards.
Experience dealing with usage-based pricing models and enterprise media contracts.
Practical experience building AI agents or workflows.

Skills and Tools

Strong data analysis capabilities, including writing SQL queries, building funnels, and defining actionable success metrics.
Prompt engineering, pipeline design, and model evaluation techniques for generative AI systems.
