Role Overview

Fireworks AI seeks a Product Manager - Growth to improve how developers discover the platform, achieve a successful model call, return regularly, and expand usage. This position covers vital surface areas like inference, training, nexus, signup flows, documentation, API access, playground experiences, model selection, error handling, and pricing. The selected candidate will own the entire journey from a developer's first request to building a reliable workflow.

Key Responsibilities

Design and execute a roadmap focusing on acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization by selecting high-impact bets.
Guide features from concept to launch across the product suite, optimizing crucial developer moments like time to first working request, error troubleshooting, and documentation accuracy.
Evaluate product metrics and user behavior data to pinpoint gaps and confirm fixes.
Collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, design, and product teams to drive seamless cross-functional execution.
Engage directly with developers to understand their building habits—covering authentication, model choices, latency, cost, and evaluations—and translate those insights into actionable team direction.

Requirements

Strong analytical abilities backed by hands-on expertise in A/B testing and funnel optimization.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a history of uniting engineers, designers, and go-to-market partners behind a shared plan.
Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, extremely fast-paced environment by turning incomplete data into clear next steps.
Technical background featuring a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science.

Nice to Have

Six or more years of product management experience, with the majority spent in developer experience or growth PM roles.
Track record of shipping widely used products, particularly consumption-based offerings.
Background in building product-led growth (PLG) and self-serve motions within businesses that also operate sales-led strategies.
