Role Overview
Coram AI is seeking a full-time Product Designer in Bangalore to shape the end-to-end user experience of an AI-powered video security platform. This position is well-suited for a systems-oriented professional with a background in designing intricate B2B software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the complete product design lifecycle, moving from early customer discovery and wireframing to high-fidelity visual design, interactive prototyping, and developer handoff.
Design user journeys for natural language video search, custom AI alert configuration, interactive camera walls, and detailed incident investigations.
Optimize operational workflows covering multi-site security oversight, role-based access control, visitor management, and emergency response coordination.
Develop, grow, and manage the Coram AI UI component library and design system in Figma to guarantee speed, accessibility, and visual consistency across platforms.
Engage directly with security operators, IT directors, and facility leaders to gather user feedback, understand workflows, and validate design concepts.
Partner daily with product managers and front-end or AI engineers within a fast-moving, high-velocity ship environment.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Product Designer or UX Designer, with a strong background in creating complex B2B SaaS platforms, data-dense web applications, or AI tools.
Presentation of clear case studies showing end-to-end design execution, complex problem-solving abilities, high visual polish, and systemic UI thinking.
Strong expertise in component architecture, autolayout, prototyping, and design system governance.
Capacity to understand technical constraints related to live video streams, real-time telemetry, and AI detection models to deliver viable and elegant solutions.
Ability to excel in early-to-growth stage settings through proactive, self-directed execution with minimal supervision.
Nice to Have
Prior design background in video management systems, IoT monitoring, cybersecurity, hardware and software hybrid platforms, or developer and AI tooling.
Familiarity with front-end code such as HTML, CSS, React, and Tailwind, or experience with mobile application design.
Experience designing user interfaces for high-urgency, critical-incident scenarios including dispatch centers, emergency response tools, and operational control rooms.
