Manage the procurement of critical infrastructure items including switchgear, generators, transformers, chillers, and uninterruptible power supplies.
Direct contracting strategies for construction delivery by negotiating directly with EPCs, general contractors, design firms, and specialty trade partners.
Act as the primary negotiator for high-value agreements, setting strategy and working closely with Legal on master contract terms.
Control owner-furnished equipment logistics, warranty terms, storage, and installation interfaces while minimizing supply chain risks.
Enforce strict change order discipline, evaluate schedule impacts, and execute long-term cost reduction strategies across the portfolio.

Requirements

Ten or more years of hands-on background across end-to-end supply chain management, strategic sourcing, fulfillment, and procurement, or eight years with a Master's degree.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
Proven history of managing multi-year category strategies for high-spend, supply-constrained environments with heavy continuity-of-supply impacts.
Extensive experience acting as a lead negotiator closing complex commercial contracts and setting corporate governance standards.
Demonstrated ability to lead through influence at scale with at least three years of indirect or informal team leadership experience.
Deep familiarity with construction contracting, delivery models, claims resolution, and scheduling for critical facilities or data centers.

Nice to Have

Prior category management expertise handling data center infrastructure gear like air handling units, switchgear, and backup generators.
Program management experience scaling data center capacity from initial equipment procurement through execution.
