Role Overview

The PlayStation Online Service Platform Engineer (AI Enabler) position sits within the engineering enablement team supporting PlayStation network services. The selected candidate will build, improve, and scale large platforms serving over one thousand developers and numerous components globally. The focus of the role centers on introducing and embedding AI technologies into development processes to maximize productivity and streamline complex global workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement AI and agent-based technologies during the migration of existing CI/CD platforms to modern tools like GitHub Actions and Argo CD.
Build AI workflows designed to assist with error analysis, automated code conversion, and deployment configuration reviews.
Drive the adoption and integration of AI solutions by creating user guidelines, organizing workshops, and sharing technical knowledge.
Collaborate directly with international teams across regions such as the United States and India to ensure continuous platform improvement.
Lead the transformation of development processes by introducing practical AI solutions into production environments.

Requirements

Minimum of three years of server-side development experience.
Practical background in CI/CD and platform engineering operations.
Direct experience utilizing code generation and review assistance tools.
Hands-on experience applying AI technologies to build applications or improve business operations.
Solid understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), including prompt design and tool integration strategies.

Nice to Have

Ability to perform job duties in English, including handling specifications adjustments during meetings with United States teams.
Operational background managing microservices utilizing Kubernetes.
Experience designing and developing AI workflows leveraging API integration and automation tools like n8n.
Experience in AI Agent development and integration with agent foundations such as AWS Bedrock or Agent Core.
Production-level deployment and management experience with AI solutions focusing on scalability, reliability, and observability.
Track record of discovering AI use cases across multiple teams and leading their implementation.
Experience building reusable workflow templates and core platform features.
